Customized benefit plans. Our benefit plans balance flexibility and choice with cost control. We work with you to customize a benefit package that includes features like lifetime maximums that vary by sub-group, tiered benefits, and dollar- and day-limits applied to the same benefit.
Consumer-directed health plans. Employers large and small are turning to consumer-directed health plans in growing numbers. They’re great solutions for offering affordable health care benefits, while enlisting employees to become more conscious of health care costs and share the responsibilities of managing health care spending. HealthSense Health Savings Account. The HealthSense HSA is a tax-exempt savings account available to individuals covered by high-deductible health plans. Funds in the account are used to reimburse employees for their qualified medical expenses. Employees and employers may contribute to the individual accounts.
Employee withdrawals for qualified medical expenses are tax-free, and interest or other earnings on the account grow tax-free. Employer contributions are excluded from federal taxable income, and federal employment taxes do not apply. Contributions can be made through a cafeteria plan on a pre-tax basis.

HealthSense Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). The HealthSense HRA is an employer-funded health reimbursement account that, when coupled with a CCStpa-administered high-deductible health plan, can give employees greater participation and choice in their health care. Employers have the potential for claims savings and greater control over health plan expenses.
With the HealthSense HRA, employees are reimbursed for qualified expenses up to the amount of the employer contribution to the HRA. Employers choose how the HealthSense HRA is applied to member health care spending. When the deductible is met, health plan coverage begins. If employers allow, members can roll over remaining account balances from year to year.
